What Hivra is
Hivra gives an AI agent a computer of its own. It can give you one too. Launch Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, OpenClaw, Agent Zero or Aeon, each on its own computer, or start an Ubuntu computer and use it yourself.
On Hivra Cloud, Hivra runs the computer for you. You can also self-host Hivra on your own server, since the platform is open source. Hermes runs on Hivra Cloud only, and OpenClaw and Agent Zero need a paid plan there.
Hivra was called HermesOS before. Existing users, deployments and accounts carried over.
What Hivra isn't
- It is not an AI model. Bring your own AI key, or sign in with your own Claude or ChatGPT account. Your AI company bills you for what you use.
- Hivra is not affiliated with Nous Research, Anthropic or OpenAI. Hermes Agent is a Nous Research project, Claude Code is Anthropic's and Codex is OpenAI's. Hivra runs each one on its own computer.
- It does not need a token. Run Hivra yourself and you don't need a Hivra account either.
How it's built and what it costs
Hivra is built in the open. The source code is public at github.com/ashneil12/hivra, so you can read it and run it yourself.
Hivra Cloud costs $9.99 a month for 2 vCPU and 4 GB of RAM. Self-hosting is free, though you pay for your own server and your own AI usage. Paid plans come with a 7-day money-back guarantee on card payments.
Hivra is built by Ash, the founder, who explains why in the founder's note.
See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
